If you woke up and and there was a lemming in bed with you, what would be your first thought?

(Thanks, folkmew!)

Ohmigod, you might have hundreds more of them any second! That would be a scary way to wake up.

I don't know, but when my previous cat (Smudge) dropped a live mouse on the exposed leg of my previous wife (Carol), remarkable things happened.

Nope. Things were much too exciting for a few minutes there to think of getting the camera out.

Don't know about if it actually happened, but my reaction on reading it was to giggle helplessly.

I have no idea if it ever happened, but folkmew did the prevailing meme about "what if you woke up and I was in your bed", and titled it lemmings in bed, so.... :) Like I said, my mind veers in odd directions.

Lemmmmming see . . . .

I'd scamble out of the bed, saying "Here kitty, kitty, kitty" in the hoeps that one of our three cats would carry it outside.

Hmmm...

Maybe "This global warming thing's gone all wrong if there're arctic critters invading."

Or "When did I get that small furry critter?"

Or "Why has that plush critter come to life?"

let me explain with an extract from his blog on the merits of Tostie makers:

Bacon and eggs
Eggs come out quite well, but I'd tried them before, so had a vague idea of what to expect. This time, however, I put some of the cheap, close dated bacon offcuts we buy in lage amounts onto the other side of the toastie maker, closed the lid and then waited. Egg came out fine, although it's still a bugger to remove it from the TM. The bacon was all right, although the fat was a bit manky and it left brown crystalised bits on the bottom that only came off with scrubbing. Not too bad though, altogether.
