Calling and inviting nrivkis over for a few weeks pampering time during her pregnancy -- right after you had just put us up/put up with us for a weekend. Says I to meself, this lady is a lady!

Hmmmm..... I think you are misremembering slightly, though I appreciate the description. :) I'm pretty sure that you two came for the weekend, then once you got back home the doctors told her that the exploratory surgery had shown she COULDN'T get pregnant. We invited her to come visit for a week because she was devestated by the news and you were overwhelmed at work - and she didn't find until shortly after she got home that she in fact WAS pregnant - at which point there was wild rejoicing.

Regardless, I'm glad we could make the offer and glad that it was taken - for both visits. :)

Oh, that's right. Tho I think you _did_ offer her some pampering time during the pregnancy too. But either way, it was wonderfully generous.
