Adventures in medicine
Feb. 5th, 2004 06:30 pmRight...
So today was the MRI. It was tedious, it was uncomfortable, it was bearable and necessary for both my peace of mind and my doctor's. It's done, and I really, REALLY hope I never have to have another one. The weirdest part was that the sound effects for the second series of scans sounded exactly like the fire alarm here at work, only not as loud. That was a tough one to relax through. *G* I find out the results next Wednesday.
I am so sick of doctors.

Oh... wow!
Feb. 5th, 2004 08:26 pmI just got home to a grand surprise.
otherdeb is a prolific and talented knitter, and has been slowly building up a home business in custom knit socks and stuff. I ordered a pair a little while ago, gave some vague preferences about color and material, and got a GORGEOUS pair of varigated slippersocks today. The colors slip back and forth between shades of green and blue with a little purple and bits of grey, and they couldn't have suited me better if I'd overseen each stitch. Nice, very nice!
