A couple of days ago, I got a phone message saying that I'd probably received a letter from them in the past few days (I hadn't), telling me I'd been pre-approved for a loan (my number is unlisted, and the phone message didn't mention my name), and they just needed to get my credit card statements so they could issue the loan.
