Well, [livejournal.com profile] autographedcat recently found a rather neat program called Joomla that he's used to revamp the Gafia webpage, and it both looks better and should have much more frequently updated information on it. It has, for instance, information on the February Gafia meetup, for those who are interested.

It looked like fun, and I haven't had a page up in literally years, and I've been doing some songs lately that are pretty much only stored on my LJ, sooooooooooooo...

ACat put Joomla up for me on my domain and at least the embryo of a webpage is up there now. Dunno what I'll ever use it for other than storing lyrics (which I have more of than I had any idea, actually!) and linking to comics (also way more than humanly sane!) but The Kat House is back there, if anyone's curious.

[livejournal.com profile] alymid was the one who pointed me at the program. It really is very nifty software. :)

Your new page looks marvelous, sweetie! *kiss* :)

It's based on Mambo, which I helped choose for the Humanists of Florida (http://www.floridahumanist.org). It's a little odd to grasp CMS concepts, but it works pretty well in the organization's experience. Have fun!

She's got a page up on the web but it's not yet done.
She's got a song or two (or three or four) and they look fun!
She used to have a life, I think, but hey, she's got to pun,
Cause she's got a new web page now!

Yay! And two of the songs are no longer "untitled March"es. :)

Hey, I'm glad you like it! (And yeah, I didn't care before but if I have to list them, they have to have names. I'm open to better suggestions!)

"Untitled March Ose Of Ecklar", aka "The City", to "Ghost City"
and "Untitled March" to "City Of Add... er, Heroes" ? Nope,
no suggestions needed. :)

Utterly unrelated to the post here: I was surprised to stumble across you and ACat on OKCupid, and was bot surprised and un- to find how the numbers went. *scurries back into lurker limbo*

Ah ha, that explains the email from OKCupid telling me I had a message! Why were you surprised/unsurprised about the numbers, though?

I twisted the arm of one of my dearest friends from EverQuest to join OKCupid... he and and I score as 70% match and 77% friend, whereas you score as mid-80s for both and ACat as 90 for both. I was just slightly surprised at how apparently similar our views on those questions seem to be.
