Describe me in one word - just one.

Please comment to me, then (IF you want to take part) post this entry to your Live Journal and see how many strange things people think about you.

*G* I actually had to go look that up - good vocabulary word! But while I can hardly deny I'm pear shaped (it would take quite a funhouse mirror to say otherwise) I don't generally think of it as "malformation; an abnormality in the shape or size of a body part" so much as just that's how the women in my family carry their fat, and I've got rather too much of that. Working on it, though!

Nope - it's not a shape thing.

You make me think of the taste of pears. And pear cider.

I said I was being Dysmorphic today!

Oh, hang on. Maybe I don't mean dysmorphic. Bum! I meant when you use one word that isn't really associated to mean something else.

Like saying that number 3 is purple (because it is).

Damn. I think I just insulted you when I meant to be enigmatic! Damn my pathetic grasp of the English Language!!!!!!!!

So I'm not being Dysmorphic (that's when you're convinced part of your body is wrong, yes?) but Moronic. Feel free to thwap me when he meet again...

You still make me think of the taste of pears, though.

SYNETHESIA!!!!

It's kind of ironic that I can't remember the name of a communication disorder...

(I'm really, really, really sorry, y'know?)

Hey, it's okay. I didn't get insulted - I don't think I can imagine you trying to insult anyone! And synethesia is another great vocabulary word, though that one I did recognize off the bat, cause I've always loved the concept. I'm happy to be a pear for you! *curtsy*

This whole thread is making me hungry, by the way.

Ooooooo, a good pear is absolutely delicious. The problem is they're so hard to find. Most of what you get in the market is dry and cardboardy, probably for better shipping.

Then it is entirely apt for the lovely [livejournal.com profile] kitanzi!

I think that, in American English, at least, it's synesthesia.

Doctor Which (an O by any other name...)

In BrEnglish it's "synaesthesia" with an "ae" digraph ('ash'), and yes it has the 's' in it like aesthetic (same root)...

Oh! Um, thanks, I think. I don't believe I've ever been told that before!
