Here's a meme that might actual generate content of use to folks, for some value of the word: For those of you who went to OVFF and are just too tired right now to do a proper report, what are three things that you particularly remember about the weekend? They don't have to be the very best, but three memorable bits, and between enough of us we may have a good con report to share.

For me, I'd say bearhugging Maedbh7 when I first saw her, Cadhla's brilliantly executed and choreographed on-stage quick change behind a sheet, and the pool party Sunday evening - we need more people for that next year, if only to warm up the pool!

Y'know, I actually walked into the pool room and looked longingly at the empty water Sunday night. Well, Monday morning, anyway. At about 3 a.m. I brought my suit and never did use it...

Well, a bunch of us have gotten together sunday dinner at a few cons now, and it's an unofficial tradition - not just at OVFF. If I'd known where to find you I'd have come and hollered, but next year if you wander by the pool Sunday evening maybe 7 or 8, you'll likely find folks there!

...on the other hand, if they put us in outside rooms again, the pool doesn't sound terribly appealing, assuming they even have an indoor pool.

From what I remember about the hotel at GaFilk, the pool is outdoors.

No, it's strictly an outdoor pool at Gafilk, sadly. Even in GA, outdoor swimming in January isn't very appealing.

And if there is a hot tub at the hotel....I couldn't find it. :(
