If, like me, you've developed an allergy to the swarm of sickly sweet Christmas carols and stories that you just can't get away from just now, give this a try:

In fact, the entire site is outstanding, a real treasure trove of goodies!

Christmas Dance

On the way home from a Con Comm meeting on the night of Friday the 13th, we passed a house that had a candy cane dance in its front yard. There were ten or twelve illuminated candy canes, white with red stripes and about two feet tall (no giants these), and arranged in a circle.

In the middle was a dead Santa Claus. Well, not really, I suppose, but he wasn't illuminated.
And he wasn't moving.

Would you have been reassured if he WAS moving?

a) I suppose writhing in agony *is* a sign of life. [eg]

b) I'd have a better target!

c) They do make illuminated christmas statues that move - reindeer nodding heads, etc. Ah, what would the season be without technology?
