I know I've done this one at least once before, but it's fun and I think it's been a while, so please humor me. (Or don't, and just skip on by!) (Thanks to Singlemaltsilk!)

Then, of course, post this to your journal and see what people would like to remember of you, only the universe failed to cooperate in making it happen so they had to make it up instead.

You're standing on the grating, looking down at the cargo, and I open the door of the shuttle and glide down to where you stand. We hug and share a long lingering kiss. R exclaims, "I'll be in my bunk", and you and I both break out in laughter. :)

By the time we found out we were at the wrong convention, you had brokered two global trade deals, prevented a war and won a country its independence. I wonder who they thought you were?

Well, there was the time you and ACat were giving us (R, M, and I) the grand tour of Atlanta. We hit the Varsity, Atlanta Underground, the World of Coca-Cola (where R made the mistake of trying to order a Pepsi and everyone in the room went silent and turned to give her incredulous looks), the CNN Center, and the Georgia World Congress Center, where Dragon*Con was going on.

We were on a filk canoe trip in the Okefenokee swamp when a storm came up and we got separated from the others. By a stroke of luck we found an old cabin we could waterproof with our spare tarp. We broke up the ratty old table and chairs to make a fire in the stone fireplace, took our instruments out of their waterproof cases and sang and played by the fire until morning. A good store of chocolate would have made it even better, but gorp and beef jerky had to do.

Yep, that was a great weekend - too bad I dropped my camera overboard on the way home. The photos of the legendary Swamp Ape who sat by the fire and harmonized on the songs would have been marvelous. We'll just have to do it again some time!
