Ten Things...

kitanziTen things I've done that, if you've ever done them, I'll be interested to know the story. (Though ACat was there for one!)
1. Rolled a car - in such a way that it landed straddling a stream.
2. Seen a cow being born.
3. Had 13 or 14 (I forget which) "permanent" addresses by the time I was 16. (And no, not a military brat.)
4. Driven 1100 miles in a day and a half, with all my worldly belongings split between the backseat and trunk.
5. Hiked the Angel Trail of the Grand Canyon in midsummer, all the way down and then all the way up.
6. Worn casts to correct pigeon toes before being a week old. (Or so I'm told - certainly I don't remember.)
7. Sold writing to an online magazine which promptly went out of business before paying me. (I may still have the contract kicking around...)
8. Joined with two housemates to take a third housemate to small claims court for back rent and utilities. (We won.)
9. Set up an exchange on computer equipment for Phil Foglio's assistant.
10. Had a stepbrother who I never did meet in person for something like.... ten years, was it? Something like. (Too late now, he's no longer my stepbrother!)
and one for good measure - traded a pile of books for a boa constrictor. (Which later escaped and frightened off the real estate agent who found it wrapped around the hot water pipes in the basement - but that's a whole other story.)
