Well, we were going to the Three Weird Sisters concert tonight. Yep, we really were. Right up until the housekey broke off in the door lock as ACat was locking it behind us.

One emergency call to maintenance later, we are back in the apartment due to a wonderfully quick response and a handyman with a flashlight, a pair of pliers, and most of all a copy of the key. By the time we got to the concert it would probably be over (and if I'm wrong, please, please don't disillusion me - I'm depressed enough about it as it is) so we'll just have to go to the next one. Sorry to have missed everyone who's going to be there. Quadrivium, when's the next time you might be in the state?

Oh yeah... we could easily enough have wound up in a motel overnight, and that would have REALLY sucked.

Yeah, wouldn't it have? :( It's been many years since a key did that to me (?),
but I remember it as being extremely frustrating. No back door to your place,
I gather?

Doubly bad about what you missed. They put on a real good show, although
I haven't heard them for a while, and not since they became four.

Uh, if they switched to electric versions of their instruments, would they be
the Three Wired Sisters? [g & d]

We do have a side door, but it's a sliding glass door and it not only has a lock, it has a bar that drops down across it. Keys won't help from the outside for that!

We've joked about that actually. :-) We are wondering how to describe the music now. I suggested electro-acoustic music.
