I believe the same will apply to German passports - however this is the first time I read about the extra cost ...

Did I mention that I probably will not travel to the US as long as Bush is in charge? I am honestly scared to enter the US. (I know that is paranoid.)
Was that what the Bush administration intended? To scare peaceful anglophile German scientists out of the country?
