migraine hangover help?
Sep. 30th, 2008 11:06 amWent to bed last night with a headache, woke up this morning with a headache, which rather abruptly went nuclear (subjectively speaking) and became one of the worst migraines I've had. I had, fortunately, just about to decided to call in sick, and so I did. Imitrex did what it was supposed to do (after another subjective eon or two), and I am no longer cowering and whimpering in bed with a face mask, fully clothed for warmth. God I hate these. I'm glad I don't get them more often.
My question, though, whether anyone else who gets these has any tips for improving the hangover feeling afterwards. I'm dopey, tired, and feel like I've been beaten with a stick. More ibuprophen and lots of liquids seem like good ideas, but any one know any way to shorten this?
