It's funny what a couple days difference can make in my mood and self perception. I took the Sensuality test that's been infecting LJ recently twice. A few days ago I scored 66 out of 100, today I got 84. >:)

During the second half of the work week :( versus just after an enjoyable weekend
visiting family / friends :) ? I guess this assumes it isn't a "periodic" thing.

Well, "a few days ago" was roughly this time last week. As for being periodic - yeah, it may be somewhat. (And if that's TMI, well, you brought it up. *G*)
