April Fool
Apr. 1st, 2003 09:45 amThere's no April Fool joke like the one you play on yourself. *sigh*
Back in February a coworker was trying to line up shift swaps for the next couple months so she could take night classes two nights a week. I wound up agreeing to do every Tuesday in April, just because she's a nice person who has agreed to swap with me in the past when I've needed it. At my request, she sent me an email with the dates and everything, and I even forwarded it to myself at home so I'd have it handy.
Guess what I forgot? And guess what day this is?
Oh well, could be worse - could have been that she had an early shift, and I had a late shift, and I forgot. THAT would have been real trouble. This is just an embarassment, and since I live only 10 minutes away from work it's not even a huge deal. But yeah, I surely am the April Fool this year!

time, having forgotten to spring ahead. It'll be your turn to inwardly gloat. [g]
