A happy ending
Jan. 1st, 2009 08:52 am2008 seems to have been a sucky year for an awful lot of people, with financial, medical, personal and professional problems all around. Mine started out not so good but got pretty steadily better, and what more can you wish for from a year than that it end better than it began? Mine certainly has, and if I'm going to make a resolution it's to cherish and nourish the changes for the better. My wish for everyone is to be able to say the same at the end of 2009, especially if they can't at the end of 2008. Hardly profound, but there it is.

Date: 2009-01-02 05:19 am (UTC)No, I'll not challenge Murphy / 2009 to do it to me, but I will hang on to thirty-one and a half years of past goodnesses. So we set sail into the sunset. Or is it a sunrise?
