Copy this sentence into your blog if you're in an opposite-sex marriage, and you don't want it "protected" by the bigots who think that gay marriage hurts it somehow.

(From all over. Although it seems to me that it should go without saying, sadly it doesn't. Proof of that is all over, too.)

I keep seeing this and wanting to post it in my blog. But... mine is a bit more complicated - being as I'm in an opposite-sex marriage and planning on adding a 2nd spouse to it... and hey, aren't we part of what the straights are scared of anyway... "if they allow that next they'll allow polygamy!" (okay, I'm going for polyandry, but same diff to the general public) Plus the whole bi thing.

Mostly I'm glad to not live in California anymore, Texas has been GOOD to us - but I do wish I could go vote against Prop 8.

Yeah, I know. That's part of why I waited so long to post it myself. I am in an opposite-sex marriage, and don't currently have any same sex partners, but that's subject to change. I technically fit the statement, but I generally feel like I'm one of the ones it's meant to be advocating for instead. *shrug* It still needs saying, and so I'm saying it.

How about this: you both fit the statement *and* are one of those it advocates for? I don't think they're necessarily mutually exclusive.

Also, woot! I'm cheering for every friend who posts this.
