Haven't checked out the stories, yet, but wow. The brain one is pretty interesting. Mindblowing though that she didn't take that kind of spontaneous massive headache for the possibility of a stroke and call 911. A neuroanatomist should know better.

You'd think, but maybe she has a history of ignoring bad headaches and getting on with her day. Or perhaps the blood clot was already affecting her mental process more subtly.

Me, I kept thinking "911. CALL NINE. ONE. ONE." It would have been a much faster option during the lucid left brain moments.
