Things that make me say COOL!

Not the screams of the vegetables, exactly, but an amazing orchestra of vegetable instruments created fresh for each performance. Recorders made of carrots, drums made of turnips and gourds, some stringed instrument I couldn't name made from a carefully dissected head of celery, and endlessly more. You wouldn't think it works, but it does, it does!

I just..don't know what to say about that. Except that the thing made of a carrot and a pepper looks pretty phallic.

I loved the red pepper kazoo (at least it sounded like one) that used the other half of the pepper as a sort of a mute.

They were in Frankfurt and I missed them. But at least local television showed a report about their endeavours - from pciking and buying the instruments to the concert.
