Which is to say my pants are utterly bankrupt, but we're home. Got home and to bed a bit past one am this morning, in fact, and we're both up bright and early for work today. Gaaaaaah.

Consonance was a great con, though, and I'm glad we went. The family visit went quite well, too, so I am actually more enthusiastic about the whole thing than my fatigue addled expression would make anyone believe. If I missed anything I should know about since last Wednesday - anything exciting, anything happy, anything that would make me wake up enough to open my eyes wide and yell YOU DID WHAT? - let me know, ok?

I shall ignore the fact that actually, I lead a pretty boring life and pretend it's exciting and tell you about it.

We're all getting much healthier, and the PPI is helping my pregnancy symptoms and I'm doing much better. We got the new washing machine. I have decided I seriously want the costume from

Maggie got new shoes, and a package from her Nana with the most amazing baby doll and outfits, all the outfits and the pillow handmade and heirloom quality. And a new nightgown, which she's proudly sporting.

Karl and I are considering trying to get a night away from the kids before the baby, and are soliticing local ideas:

Weeeelllll.... we landed something like 10:30, then there was screwed up luggage (who, when given a suitcase and a guitar, puts the guitar in with regular luggage and THEN puts the suitcase in the oversized luggage?!?), a trip home on the public transportation - MARTA - and we finally got home at nearly midnight on the dot. At this point we had not eaten anything but airline snackpacks since about noon, so time was taken for scrambled eggs and toast and coaxing the cats into talking to us again. All told, yeah, bed at just about 1 am to catch about 4 1/2 hours sleep. *sigh*

Well, I had fun posting a "How good a friend are you" test recently. (Which was really a "How many really weird facts do you know about me" test.) That was making the rounds over the weekend and was lots of fun to do.

Other than that, I've been grading. *grin*
