I looked casually at my friends list, and I have a lot of people there who I don't necessarily recognize. I certainly don't mind - I could probably count the number of friends locked posts that I have on one hand and the rest I consider are fair for anyone to read whether I know them or not. I'm also horrible with names and faces, so I really may know a lot of you better than I think! Anyhow, this is just a shout out - if you're reading my LJ, whether I'm married to you or you just happened to stumble in because you saw I made some weird comment on your partner's cousin's nanny's LJ, please say hi and how we might happen to know each other, and maybe introduce yourself! (And to be fair, ask me a question or two if you're trying to figure out who I am!)

I'm not so sure - I guess you friended me after autographedcat and I had friended each other after meeting at filkhaven, that must have been about 4 years ago?!

I'm hurt that you don't remember me, my dear Larissa. That burning night of passion that we shared in San Pualo those many years ago still linger in my thoughts, particularly whenever I have mango gelato. I still keep that tiny squirrel you carved for me from ice in my Memory Box, wrapped in the lace handkerchief in which you shed those tears when you told me you were leaving me for autographedcat.

The squirrel carving is much smaller now, but my fond memories of our time together still remains.

We know one another from filk - anach and I have been to several GaFilks (as part of the crazy drive-down-from-Chicago contingent) although, alas, not for several years. We'd love to come back, but since we both are in education now, finding the time is very difficult. We also attend FKO and OVFF regularly, as well as local-Chicago cons.
