Snagged from aaaaallllll over, the meme that just keeps sharing:

The first five people to respond to this post, will get some form of wearable art/art/food, by me, about them that they like. I make no guarantees about quality or type, but I will assure that I will give it good effort and that the wearable art/art/food will be individual to you, so if you get a mixed CD or some sort of painting doodle, jar or baked good, yours is the only one like it.

The only catch, of course; as with most memes, if you sign up, it is desireable that you put this in your own journal as well.

Also, I make no promises about response time - seriously, I procrastinate as an art form. I'll try to do them in a timely fashion, but I can't guarantee inspiration will strike immediately ;)

You're it! :) Any general preferences? I'm tending to think in terms of food, but I'm not set on it.

Yep, will do. Hmmmm, you'll be at OVFF, right? Any objections to foodish stuff, as I have no idea what might suit you otherwise? (Or decorative bookmark, perhaps... this was all very spur of the moment, and I'm not terribly crafty.)

I will indeed be at OVFF, and no objections to either of those ideas at all :)

Okay, I'll sign up.

I'll have to give some serious thought as to what *I* can send, but I'll think of something, I'm creative.

Absolutely! Hmmm.... foodish, bookmarkish, earringish or take your chances? (I'm still trying to come up with ideas.)

From: [identity profile] celticdragonfly.livejournal.com
Hm. Well, not earringish - I occasionally wear ear cuffs, but can't wear actual earrings, as I don't have pierced ears anymore.

Other than that, sure, I'll take my chances. Well, there is reason to be gently cautious with food - did Rob tell you about that? Catch me on chat.

Absolutely! Foodish, or what? I'll take suggestions, though I can't promise to stick to them.

Well, I'm always happy to eat your cooking. But feel free to surprise me otherwise, if you wish. :)

1) "art/art/food"

OK, I'll bite. What's art/art/food?

2) "procrastinate as an art form."

Not to be confused with as a food form? [g & d]

e) No, this won't go in my own journal, so I don't count. :)

1) I think it was meant to suggest alternatives, as it was actually "wearable art/art/food", but I'm not much for sewing and don't have much for jewelry making handy - could get something, but.... or could do braiding or knotting type bracelets or whatever, hmmm.

2) Wouldn't procrastinatory food as an art form either be rotted or burnt? Well, maybe fermented. That could be interesting, potentially.

e) Could if you wanted it to, though it would be hard getting it to you. :) Shall it?

RATS!... on a stick?

1) "alternatives"

Oops. Looks like I parsed it wrong. Duh.

2) "rotted or burnt? Well, maybe fermented."

Yes, and wouldn't the local Post Awful employees just love it. :(
Alternatively, there do seem to be all sorts of potential tie-ins to Jack Skellington's "Making Christmas" here, don't there? [eg]

e) Thanks, but why don't I pass. There seems to be a disappointed folkmew out there who'd appreciate being #5.

2) yes, I suppose there do.

Why do I, every time I dream,
Picture you....and whipped cream?
It's just like me to want to see
Clothes off you....

I forget what I was going to say
When you wear lingerie;
That is why I long to spy
Clothes off you...

On the day that you were born
You came out wearing nothing
That's the reason that it's called a birthday suit...
Please understand, from where I stand
That birthday suit you're wearing is a beaut!

I admit...I'm not a subtle guy.
It's not hard to see why
I approve each time you remove
Clothes from you

Best to say nothing and just smile mysteriously I guess.

Really!?? Cool! I win I win I win!! (happy dance)

Um... pragmatically? A mix CD would be cool.
More fun? Hmm... don't care much but you have to hand deliver it! :-)

Hee.

Would you be happy with foodish or perhaps a decorated bookmark? I will be happy to hand deliver either, the next time you happen to be in GA. *G*

Oh a bookmark would be great!!! I would think of you when I used it and since I read a LOT that would be often!!

I could also hand deliver if you happen to be going to either OVFF or Gafilk.... what are the chances?
