Crossbred meme
Apr. 1st, 2005 02:34 pmSince these memes are scattered all over LJ at the moment, I thought I'd combine them.
I've turned off IP Address Logging and I've always had anonymous posters allowed. I'll post five questions, and you all can feel free to answer them anonymously, and give some in return if you want. You can even answer eachother's questions anonymously, if you like. Be creative, be candid, have fun.
1) Do you have a dream you've never dared to try for?
2) If you could recreate yourself in any way you wanted (physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, whatever) would you, and in what way?
3) What's the best job you've ever had, and why?
4) What's something you're really enthusiastic about that you wish more people appreciated?
5) What's something you've always wished you could tell someone?

Date: 2005-04-01 12:19 pm (UTC)2) YES! Physically, I'd make myself slightly taller and much less "portly"; Mentally, I'd make myself more geared toward the dull day-to-day BS; Emotionally, I'd make myself less sensitive; Spiritually, nope, wouldn't change that; Whatever, I'd also make myself a bit more outgoing.
3) Best job? That implies that one has had a job that they liked. Can't answer it.
4) Common courtesy. Too few people appreciate it when it is offered and too few people offer it. How hard is it to say Please, Thank you, and You're Welcome???
5) There are actually several of these. "Kiss my ass, Sire," "I adore you, {name removed to protect the guilty}," and, "Honey, I'm poly."

3) Probably working as a research assistant for a software company; I was very appreciated for my intelligence and got to hang out with brilliant people.
4) How polyphony appears in so many different kinds of music.
5) I want to live in a utopia: basic needs provided for, and anything extra earned. Unfortunately, as good SF has shown, this alone doesn't necessarily create a utopia.
