From [livejournal.com profile] telynor:

1. If you could break your day down any way you wanted, assuming you didn't need to work unless you wanted to, how would you spend your time?

How do I think I should, or would? *G* I think initially I'd take a while to be utterly lazy and overdose myself on books, internet, computer games and being a couch potato. I'd eventually get sick of that and find a better balance for mental, emotional and physical health that would probably include some sort of job, partly to help me structure my time. When I first moved to GA I was job hunting for the first two weeks, and most of my time was at loose ends compared to what I was used to. Like a too rich diet, too much play and too little work wore on me fairly quickly. On the other hand, I don't think I have the self discipline to sucessfully work out of my own home or for myself - things like being a writer, for instance. I know being a housewife would drive me round the bend pretty fast, too. *shrug* I wouldn't mind a more varied job, though, or one with shorter hours.

2. If you could walk into any book you've ever read and set up residence in the world or reality created there, not necessarily as a main character-- which book would you choose?

That's probably subject to change based on what I've been reading lately. At the moment, I think I'd choose the world of David Brin's Kiln People - fascinating book!

3. When you meet a new person, what draws your eyes first?

The face, especially the eyes and expression.

4. Do you collect anything?

I used to collect comic books, and I intend to start again soon. Certainly I collect regular books, too, but not as systematically. I used to collect Magic cards, but those are long gone now, several moves ago.

5. What's your favorite berry?

Whatever is perfectly fresh and ripe - I love them!

From [livejournal.com profile] autographedcat:

1) What's the most important thing you learned from your last relationship?

To know what I want and need, and keep a clear line between that and what someone I love wants and needs - to be able to defend that and not confuse the two.

2) If you could change one specific thing about your relationship with your family, what would you change?

I just don't know how to answer this. I don't know where to even start.

3) You can have a one hour long private concert for you and anyone you want to invite. Who's the performer? What songs would you specifically request?

Oh my... does it have to be just one performer? There are too damn many, from Three Weird Sisters to Cheryl Wheeler to Stan Rogers. (You didn't specify they had to be live!) I know even that many are too many to properly fit into an hour concert, but maybe something could be worked out. *shrug* As for who would come - all the people I know who would enjoy that! I would at least request Ordinary Love, Arrow and White Squall.

4) What author would you most like to be able to sit down and have a real conversation with?

Lois McMasters Bujold, I think, but again that may vary according to what I've read lately.

5) You and me, babe. How about it? :)
