Kind of late, but here it is:

1. If you could live in any other city, which would it be?

There are several possibilities, but San Francisco is definitely near the top of the list lately. *G*

2. How often do you get people pointing out what "kitanzi" means in Swahili?

You are the first, though I found out what it meant on my own well after "inventing" it. (I am assuming you do know?)

3. With unlimited access to all the world's libraries, in which direction would you go first?

Oooo! Assuming also unlimited time, probably go back towards genetics. That's always fascinated me, and that's what I originally meant to major in. It's hard to get back into cold, though. If I'd stuck with that I think my life would probably be very different, given how much that field has grown since I left college.

4. If you have access to control exactly what you're like in 5 years, describe what would be different.

Hrrrm, that's a hard one. Definitely with a chunk of lost weight, for health as much as anything, and a permanent job that interests me, and hopefully ACat and I would have a house at that point but in many ways I wouldn't want to change things. If I'm controlling in more detail, I am kinda hoping I will find some other relationships, but I'm wary and picky on that these days, and I'm not going there just to "prove my poly credentials" (or my bi credentials), so that's hard to specify.

5. If you could never have cats or kittens again, what kind of pets would you have?

I would actually like to have a boa constrictor again. I had one once - about as much personality as a rope, but a surprisingly interesting pet.

To the best of my knowledge this catches me up on all the interviews I've received - if I haven't answered a question set that anyone's sent me, let me know?

1. What was it about autographedcat that made you want to up and move to be with him? (I happen to think you both made an excellent choice, BTW)

Well, my relationship with F had broken down in a thoroughly toxic fashion so I had to move, and I wanted to get the hell out of New Hampshire. My relationship with ACat had been steadily growing, so ... it was a real chance for both of us, but it's worked out very well.

2. As someone from the Northeast, what was the biggest culture shock about moving to the South?

The Bible Belt - everything from most of my coworkers having bible verses posted in their cubes to the inevitable question "Which church do you go to?" It was always which do you go to, not do you go. Also other related attitudes, but that sums it up fairly well.

3. What's the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of me?

Oddly enough, when I read this the very first thing that came to mind was your bright green cast from when you visited a year or two ago! (Sorry! It seems to have made an impression!)

4. Most of us have things that we'd like to try but are prevented by circumstance. Given infinite resources, what would you like to try?

A trip to the moon. Seriously. It's selfish, but there it is. I hate traveling, but I love being places. For that, I'd made the trip. If infinite resources includes a teleporter I would venture further afield - and take everyone along who wanted to come!

5. If you were going to cook dinner for me, what would you make?

How's chili sound, with fresh cornbread? I do a very good chili, if I do say so myself. We also have some jalapeno honey (or maybe this lot is habanero, I forget) which is delicious on cornbread.
