I, also. Lois was the one who got me started voting. More recently, I can remember parking in a handicapped spot and pushing Lois in her wheelchair into the voting area. It was damn important to her, and partly because of her example, it's damn important to me.
Story - Once Lois was speeding home from work to try to get to the polls before they closed and was pulled over by the police. When she told the officer why she was in a hurry, he got in his squad car and, lights flashing, led the way for her to the polling station. She thanked him and hurried in to cast her vote.
