Now I wish I lived closer to Seattle (which is to say, less than a continent's width away!) so I could try The Night Kitchen, which is juuuuust opening up tonight. (Just about a half hour ago, in fact!)

If anyone in the area tries it, can you tell me what you think? It sounds like a really great place for late night food, and well suited to me and the kind of folks (nerds!) that I know. *grin* ACat pointed out that it's also well suited for post-gig munchies...

The Sendak fan in me wants to go just so I can cover myself in dough...

Sounds excellent, except that they don't serve dinner nearly late enough. It sounds like they would be great for second-shift types (who work 5P-11P, plus or minus a bit) but not for the lobster shift (or overnighters) who want serious food anywhere from 2AM-4AM. (Breakfast is nice and all, but it's not as serious as dinner. :-)

Still, the food sounds better than what we can get late (from our two 24/7 diners and two late-closing (i.e., 4AM and 5AM) other places).

I just saw that story with my daughter a few days ago, on one of the DVDs she got for Xmas.

You and A-Cat really *do* have to get working on that Teleporter one of these days, ya know. :)
