Ain't dead yet!

Much of northwestern Georgia appears be getting ready to dissolve and/or float away, but we're doing fine where we are, so to anyone worrying - we're okay! Yes, we're in Fulton County but it's the northern part. Nobody's paddling down the street just yet, and *gasp* I believe it has (however temporarily) stopped raining!

Wouldn't hurt to have one, even now. It's still supposed to keep raining all week. My theory is that the universe, having a capricious and nasty sense of humor, heard someone say that if we could just end this drought they'd never complain again! *grin*

Yeah, they're still finding bodies, it seems, though neither of you two were among them. (Yay!) There also may be a Darwin award issued for the guy who said "I can swim cross that rain swollen ditch!". They don't seem to have found his body yet. (Duh.)

Up here it's the very beginning of Autumn, with mostly blue skies, temps in the 60s or 70s, and a few leaves starting to turn color or fall. Oh, and we're going to get some rain tomorrow night. Yawn. (I hope!) :)

Yeah, death toll was 7 last I heard, I believe. I'm pretty sure the guy who died while swimming in the ditch on a bet had last words along the lines of "Hold my beer and watch this!" Rain tomorrow/tonight? Better you than us. :)
