Five years!
Aug. 6th, 2009 05:19 pmHappy wedding anniversary to my loving and loved husband
autographedcat - even if we both would have forgotten without being reminded by an email from a too-far friend wishing us well! (Thank you,
annonynous!) Five years and counting, hopefully until it's too many to count!

Date: 2009-08-07 03:37 pm (UTC)Reading this just made me realize that sometime next week will be the 20-year anniversary of when I met Don. Hard to believe how fast the years fly by...

Date: 2010-02-06 01:53 pm (UTC)*hint* I spat sprite on you in college just to see what would happen and ran like hell. (I had no idea I could reach that level of sustained velocity, not that it worked, since it couldn't match your much higher level of sustained acceleration!)

Date: 2010-02-12 04:44 pm (UTC)Lesee..since '92 (skipping the sad tragedies)
-ooo fencing :) Saber , did good in a few meets but was a senior so I couldn't take it to the next level.
- er, graduated
- languished for a few months (not much to do with the degree without grad work)
- took 'methods in biotech' and got a job at Genzyme for a few years.
- Got a job in the computer biz! Became admin, telecomm and webmaster of a .com called Netservices out of Lynn (ten employees!). Went under during the beginning of the .com crush of 2000 though. (I met my future wife online at that time)
-Got a job in IL working at Webstreet (150 employees! Much better) went there on a road trip with my lady and we lived together. However the company was bought by Etrade so we moved back to MA. The .com in my resume made my experience pariah all over.
- since then I've done various things back in MA up till now. (UPS, Post Office, etc) nothing great but keeping myself busy and snuggling. :)
Hobbies: Gaming, PC/xbox, D+D 4th ed, reading (finishing off Tamora Pierce at wife's suggestion atm)
How's about you? I can tell you are still the songbird. :) The blog is great btw!

Date: 2010-03-13 06:08 pm (UTC)Speaking of blasts from the past, remember Sue Howarth, my college roommate? She apparently googled me and emailed just today. *grin* Small internet, isn't it?

Date: 2010-03-15 04:05 pm (UTC)-Our former aprartment-mate in Amherst (in the barn). I still remember her rightfully scolding Malcolm and I about our apparent laziness. *guilt twang*
-We marched with her on the state capitol about budget cuts.
-I dressed up as a painted, and wigged, barbarian with two machete's for halloween and jumped out at her... taking years off her life.
I've often wondered if she's okay. :)
[also wonder/worry about Ganelle, May and Daniel (who I *think* was in China studying during the Tienemen Square horror))
[FYI: T.C, Malcolm, Kurt, Scott, and Sean each have a presence on either MySpace or Facebook. So at least they're doing okay enough to have an internet status]
