Given how hard it's been over the past year and a half to get people to volunteer to host, and how hard it's been to get people to come to many of the ones that are hosted - do we need to try another model, folks? And does anyone have suggestions?

Otherwise some system that allows you to really see real time who is going to be there so you can decide if you want to have it or not... something that allows you and everyone to roll with life and be informed. A facebook page maybe...?
