If you're happy and you know it...

It seems to me, in looking back, that I mostly post complaints or meaningless memes. Just for the record, right now I'm pretty happy with life.

I have a husband I love dearly, who is a damned good partner as well. (I know full well they don't always go together.)

I have a boyfriend who is smart, funny, cute, and affectionate, and as fond of me as I am of him. (Again, not a given, as I know!)

I have a long distance sweetie who I will see this weekend for the first time in far too long, and in spite of too much separation of time and space he's still excited about my visit. (Yaaaay!)

I am making or have made genuine friendships with the families of both my boyfriend and my sweetie. This enriches my life a great deal and makes me happy. (Poly can seriously rock. And suck, sure, but this is one of the really good parts of it.)

I got a sideways promotion at work a week and a half ago, and though I had some reservations about it, I've pretty well caught on to the new job and am very much liking my new co-workers. Finally, I have nerd friends at work! *grin* (On the downside, we currently have 2 hours a day of mandatory overtime until we're caught up, and I'm salaried now.)

Georgia is just starting to break out into Spring. I love spring here, even though it hates me. (I am allergic to the entire state, I swear I am.)

And I am, apparently, being attacked by a ravening herd of parenthesis. (So maybe I should wrap this up.)

But yeah, happy, and it deserves notice.
