Actually - I think eating for entertainment is a fine thing! If you are eating because you enjoy the taste, smell, look of food, and there is some correlation between eating and needing to eat I think that's entertainment but appropriate. Foods just too sensuous to ignore. :-) It's when the entertainment is to fill a gap left by boredom or to sublimate frustration/stress etc - then that's a problem. (at least that's my take on it! ;-)
I really loved the Geneen Roth books on eating. I did some of her exercises and found them *very* interesting.
