Yeah, with a fan on you, it makes a huge difference. I did that a lot when I was out of work in the summer with no AC, and had to spend hours in front of the computer job-hunting. (I'd actually sit in my bathing suit, with a couple of towels on the computer chair and dry my arms so I didn't drip on anything electronic.)
