I can absolutely relate to your transition phase. At least now I have a house I can visualize, instead of a vague "post-held housing assignment." That makes it easier (except for the ugly ulpholstery.) I'm impressed with your early start - I'm moving much sooner, and haven't started anything. Monday morning my first task is to call the relocartion specialist!
Sorry for the lapse in communication, but it really was just pure overwhelm. The last few weeks have been pretty busy. I'm back in town for about six weeks and would love to get together with you and AC - let's get our calendars lined up soon, so we can be sure that happens.
FYI, if I'm upset with someone, I'm generally direct enough to say so; silence on my part usually means nothing more sinister than that my social-connections fuse is temporarily shorted out, generally when too many other things are lighting up the board. I know I need to work on that, and I'm sorry if you were left feeling uncertain of your welcome.
