Reality Check
Just 'cause this actually apparently came up at work today, in a call I didn't take:
If an irate consumer is threatening to blow up your bank if you don't get something fixed on his credit file immediately, do you
a) call the credit bureau in a tizzy or
b) call the police? (or at the damn least call security?)

(Which may be unfair of me... I didn't take the call, and for all I know the caller was smart enough to call 911 first, then call us to keep up the charade for the damnfool idiot. Joanne, who did take the call, didn't seem to think they had, though.)

OTOH, I freak pretty damn hard when I freak, so who knows. :)

"911, is this an emergency?"
'Yeah, freaknut on the other end says he has a bomb and intends to blow up OurBank. What's the penalty these days for making false bomb threats? And while I have you on the line, can you have a probate prescreener visit this gentleman and determine if he may need involuntarily committed to the local psychiatric facility? Thanks." -H...
