happy fluffy meme
Because I could really use some happyfluffy and good distraction right now...
Leave a comment and I will...
1. Tell you why I friended you.
2. Associate you with something - fandom, a song, a color, a photo, a word etc.
3. Tell you something I like about you.
4. Tell you a memory I have of you.
5. Ask something I've always wanted to know about you.
6. Tell you my favorite user pic of yours.
7. In return, you must post this in your LJ.
And if I don't actually know you well enough, I'll make something up!

Otherwise, I'd never know what was going on with you. *grin* Plus you blog interesting stuff!

Aphelion, of course!
3. Tell you something I like about you.
I really like your writing style.
4. Tell you a memory I have of you.
Your effusive praise for my cornbread, of all things!
5. Ask something I've always wanted to know about you.
Did you and ACat meet through Aphelion, or before that?
6. Tell you my favorite user pic of yours.
You only have the one, from the looks of it. That does simplify things!

#2: Well, there isn't much else that the world knows about that I do, besides Aphelion.
#3: You're one of the few, the proud, the readers I live to entertain!
#4: Cornbread is *important!* It's the only Southern dish that illustrates both friendship *and* patience. Anyone can learn to fry chicken or make potato salad correctly. It takes someone special to abandon a recipe and experiment in order to tailor-make cornbread that tastes like the variety that the Mother of a friend makes.
#5: Rob answered the door when I went to a friend's house to beg a few gallon jugs of drinking water after I'd gotten divorced from my first wife and had been cut off from the water supply where my mobile home was set up. He blinked sleep out of his eyes and invited me inside, despite the fact that he didn't know me from Adam's Off Ox. Once we began talking, there was no keeping us from becoming friends.
Aphelion came about much later. Plus, it never would have happened without Rob teaching me so much about how to use a computer, and the internet in general.
#6: Yeah, I like that pic. It really sums up my personality better than any other photo of me that exists. Plus, having just the one makes posting a little faster.
