any Lush fans out there?

I really need some more of one of the Lush shampoos (http://www.lush.com/ if you don't know what I'm talking about, it's some great stuff) but their shipping prices are a bit extreme. Anyone live near a Lush store who might be able to buy me a large bottle of Daddyo (I can pay back with check or Paypal) and ship it by any fashion for less than $12, do you think? Please?

I loooove lush :) Even though I only ever use their bath melts / bath bombs, cuz I'm so peculiar with my hair / shampoo etc. *g*
Well - actually I *do* live pretty close to a lush shop - assuming that the products are all the same internationally, I could get you one or two large bottles and Steve could take them back with him after FC ... however he only gets back on 10th October, so if that isn't too late, I'd gladly get you your shampoo. Re. payment, don't worry, we could sort that out when I'm back over in December, or alternatively you could pay Steve and I get the money back from him or such ...
Of course there might be easier ways to do this, someone from the US might volunteer too *g* - but wouldn't it be fun to say you got your shampoo imported especially for you? ;-)

If I'm not mistaken, [livejournal.com profile] cadhla is a Lush fan, and I have it on good authority that she's going to be at OVFF.

There's a LUSH in Boston, and I can try and go sometime when I can leave the baby at home (his poor little nose probably can't deal).

So far I have managed to resist the siren song of Lush. I am sure, based on the many women friends who rave about it, that I will become hopelessly addicted once I try it.

Clearly we need to do a "Lush wench con" where we each bring something "lush" to share and try out! ;-) Someday I'll have money again and I'll actually try to *organize* another wench con for real! :-)

I'm an easy bike/train/bus ride to Lush; if you paypal me and let me know what you want, I can help.

I can try to go tomorrow (the 12th). There is one in Manhattan, and I will be in Manhattan on Monday (friends taking me out for birthday dinner, and I have some time to kill between getting off work and meeting them).

Will post back tomorrow night as to whether they had it in stock and if I was successful.

Anything you need for OVFF, I am happy to bring.

Also, hmmmm. I wonder if those of us with local Lush stores could arrange a sample party...
