Accck!
Just because I still can't believe it....
What kind of company calls their payroll provider on April 13th to say oh, by the way - we never got our W2s from you this year.
AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!
(Fortunately, they turned out to be with a different division, and needed to talk to someone who is entirely Not-Me. But good god, folks!)

Hit 'em with the clue-by-four!
A company that won't be in business for very much longer.
As far as I know, the drop-dead date for sending out W-2's is January 31. If they're not received (or is it sent out?) by then, that's when the calls should begin. Not two days before the tax deadline. Sheesh!
The company (whose name has been withheld to protect the guilty) has my vote for Idiot of the Week.
