Queen for a month
Work pretty much sucked yesterday - most of it was my own headspace, but still it sucked. So it was particularly gratifying today to come in and sit down at my desk and notice my supervisor, our monitoring specialist and a half dozen or so curious coworkers slowly drifting ever so casually towards my desk - to crown me.
At the beginning of the year we got a quality analysis program and a call strategy list of objectives started up. Each of us gets monitored, theoretically once every couple weeks for several calls at a time. This last month I apparently scored perfectly (which is higher than I recall from discussing it with the monitor at the time, but I'm not about to argue it) and as the high score for the department I get a very silly plastic crown for a month, ten incentive points, and the not entirely unpleasant embarassment of having my picture taken with the silly crown to be posted up on the wall for the month. Presumably I get brownie points with my supervisor and something or other nice noted in my folder. Heh... it's all trivial, but it was a definite ego boost after yesterday, when everything I touched seemed (to me) to go wrong.
So... queen for a month. But if Byron calls me "Queenie" again I'm gonna crown HIM. *EG*
(Edit: I should maybe mention this was as a measure of good customer service - we have a list of points we have to meet, like a standardized greeting and ending, recapping and so on.)

Hmm, is this like the SCA where if they do it once, we call you Countess afterward, and if they dub you twice, we call you Duchess?
